Explore The BALSAMS Wilderness Ski Area, a winter wonderland where the beautiful tree-lined trails are well-groomed and lift lines are almost non-existent. The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel features an alpine ski area with an on-site lodge, sixteen trails of varying difficulty, five gladed areas and a Terrain Park. To add to the family fun, there is a separate ski-play area for youngsters. PSIA certified instructors offer private coaching and group classes in alpine skiing as well as snowboarding. A modern snowmaking system is in place on 80% of the trails.

The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel features an on-site alpine ski area with 16 beautiful tree-lined trails, five gladed areas and a Terrain Park. The vertical drop is 1,000 feet, with a separate slope for beginners and a ski-play area for youngsters. A modern snowmaking system is in place to supplement Mother Nature on 80% of the trails. Certified members of the National Ski Patrol are on duty every day and PSIA certified instructors offer private coaching and group classes in alpine and telemark skiing, as well as snowboarding.
