Far more than a lovely place to stay, The BALSAMS Grand Resort and Hotel is a gracious home away from home. Surrounded by the tranquility and natural beauty of the rugged New Hampshire mountains, The BALSAMS provides an environment that is at once uncomplicated, yet sophisticated in every way. Awaiting guests is the full BALSAMS experience, where inviting accommodations, the famous breakfast buffet, exquisite five-course dining, mountain bike and boat rentals, golf greens fees and live entertainment are a part of each visit.
 

Beaver Lodge is very unique “Craftsman’s Home”, former residence of Mr. Hale who owned The BALSAMS from 1895-1920. The Lodge offers beautiful views of Lake Gloriette and The Notch. This private lodge allows a perfect opportunity for small gatherings who appreciate a private and beautiful setting in the middle of nature.

Situated just a few hundred feet from The BALSAMS  historic hotel, beyond a towering stone archway, Beaver Lodge can accommodate 13 adults with ease as well as children.  The Lodge will be open for individual room bookings the weekend of February 5, but thereafter will only be available for group and family rentals.

Beaver Lodge winter reservations will require a two-night minimum, summer reservations require a three-night stay. 

Guests of Beaver Lodge also have a unique opportunity of experiencing a BALSAMS Chef prepare their meals right in the lodge. Because the Lodge also served as a training facility for our apprentices, it has a top-notch kitchen, so we plan to offer guests the chance to hire their own private BALSAMS chef for their stay.
