Andy Pearson and his crew have been hard at work upgrading the snow making equipment, installing two Technoalpin tower guns around the base area, and they’ve also been creating more of and expanding upon the gladed areas of the mountain, or the tree skiing area. Read More

Recent studies have shown what folks in the travel industry have been noticing for the past several months—the economic downturn of the past year is reshaping the tourism landscape. This has certainly had an impact in New Hampshire, where tourism is the second largest industry after manufacturing. But did you also know that Dixville Notch is the first town to vote in each primary as well? Citizens gather in The Balsams’ Ballot Room at midnight on primary day to cast their votes.
