Do you know some of New Hampshire’s top restaurants? Or how about some of New Hampshire’s top spots for travelers to have fun? You soon will. The blogging team will also provide glimpses of the many faces of our Grand Hotel; you’ll see interviews with some of our wonderful staff, including Head Chef Josh Berry. He and other individuals strive to make The BALSAMS a memorable place for your New Hampshire vacation.
In addition, you can look forward to tales of the resort’s grand history. The BALSAMS has been here for over 150 years, and a generation before that it was a farmhouse, situated in the mountains of Dixville Notch. Even then, the owners took in weary travelers making their way by horse –drawn carriage between Portland, Maine and Montreal, Quebec. Most guests nowadays take a few moments to pass through some of the historic rooms, reading old news clippings and viewing photos displayed upon the walls.
The blogging team has so much to share with you and we hope that you will join the conversation by contributing to the comments section. We also hope that you will bookmark this page and check back often, or better yet, subscribe to our email list – there are many tales to tell!
