Looking for some new fun things to do in NH this summer? Grab your bathing suit and take the kids to Santa’s Village to check out HO HO H2O, their new water play area that features water slides, climbs, and interactive play areas, all designed to keep the little ones cool on your family vacation!
Santa’s Village is located in Jefferson, NH, just about an hour south of this New England resort. The amusement park has been a favorite family destination for generations, and it keeps getting better. Last season the park installed a “splash area” with pulsating water jets designed for kids to run under and get a spray of water to cool them off. Instead, the staff found most children sat right on the jets to get soaked—they wanted a place where they could really cool down!
“With this in mind, and hoping to provide a more varied vacation experience, we decided to put in this water play area dubbed, HO HO H20,” says Bruce Hicks, Marketing Elf at Santa’s Village. “It is only about 8-9 inches deep, has slides, bridges, water cannons, and an infant area.”
The grand opening of the water park area will take place on June 20th, Father’s Day weekend. Santa himself will host the event, and the first 400 children who visit will receive special prizes!
Use of HO HO H2O is included in the park admission, as is unlimited use of all the other rides and shows. Consider spending a day at Santa’s Village as part of your New Hampshire family vacation!
