Grand Ballroom Experience at The BALSAMS

Professional Dance Team Treats Guests to Weekend of Instruction, Demonstration and Dancing March 5-7

Dixville Notch, N.H. – Professional dancing takes center stage at The BALSAMS Grand Resort Hotel from March 5-7, 2010 as guests learn the fundamentals of ballroom dancing while enjoying the elegance of a world-class resort.  The dance team of Maria Brown and Raymond Huard of the Paper Moon Dance Studio will both entertain and educate during this exciting weekend.
   
Guests will enjoy a wine and cheese reception and Table d’Hote five-course dinner on Friday evening, along with an amazing Exhibition Routine by the professionals.  Also included is The BALSAM’s famous buffet breakfast each morning, and the Grand Dinner Buffet on Saturday night.  Guests are also free to use all of the resort’s facilities, including complimentary Alpine and Nordic ski passes. 

The dancing begins Saturday morning with three sessions of instruction.  Students will learn the finer points of “smooth” and “Latin” styles of dance.  Special rates on private dance lessons are also available.  The highlight of the weekend comes as guests put their skills on display at a classic ballroom gala in the Switzerland of America Ballroom on Saturday night.
